About the App
The app has been released for the iOS and Android Stores (India Only) from 23rd April 2016. The plan for the app is set to launch from India and slowly expand to other countries. As explained in the previous part of my internship, the app will help parents, teachers and students to search, compare, rate and review schools. It provides a platform for students to compete in educational games. Helps all to become future with talks, group and panel discussions. Allows teachers and schools to connect for job purposes. Finally has a market place for all to buy products and services related to the education market.
Design
As this is my continuation of the internship with Echelon Networks, (please see my previous project "Echelon Networks"), we have finally decided upon a name for the app, "Echelon.One". I am the project's lead UI and UX designer. I started off as developer on this project but did some design work as well as well. After I was done prototyping, I was shifted to concentrate on the design as they really liked my design work.
This semester, I was heavily involved with discussions and planning of the app. As we are out of the prototyping stage, I went though a lot of discussions, planning, Skype chats and emails about the apps development and features. The way to describe would be 75% meetings, discussions, development plans and thinking more than design work. You can see below that I have gone through a few designs to come up with the final ones. As this project has been going over for a long period, in the previous version of this project, you can see how far have I come from the being of the design. However, the final versions may not be absolute final as they may require more changes but we it is closer to any other design at present towards the finished designs. As the app has gone live, I also created a promotional video for the app. I had to go through the licensing agreements for the stock footage and the music so I could use it for commercial use. It was a very different experience as I got a glimpse of the legal and agreements side of such projects.

Conclusion
I feel that the project is shaping up to be quite well. This is only the beginning and there is still a long way to go.
